Jumbuck on a spit would go down well, me old mate..
I have had a hankering for one lately..
It's my Croatian heritage..
My grandfather (on Mum's side) was mad keen on them. Any excuse for lamb (and pig on a spit)
Ahhh, nothing beats it!
Not even lamb shanks and black beer ;)
Aren't they beautiful. My grandad loved them as well, but in a whole different way. I guess it runs in the family.

We'll hope and pray the Salesians' vows of celibacy extend to . . . no, let's not go there.
Hard to believe there's housing estates as far as the eye can see up above the rise. 'Twas all pastoral when my pals and I used to knock around here as kids. But the 1000+ acres of the Rupertswood estate remains largely intact. It's the home of the Ashes, by the way.
Kath, if you don't renounce your heresy Father Park will admonish you about the doctrine of the Lamb Shank Redemption. (*groan*)
Might well do shanks tonight...
