The hate-infused universe of Geoff Pahoff

I see that the hate-stuff directed against me by Geoff Pahoff continues over at Harry Heidelberg’s Club Chaos.

I think next Pahoff could maybe get a pic of me, texta in a funny little Hitler moustache, and get Harry to post that. Any more ideas for juvenile slime capers? — please submit to Pahoff c/o Harry’s.

The really pathetic thing is that all this hate-stuff of Pahoff’s has come from my having repeatedly shown him up to be full of shit on Webdiary, perhaps well over a year ago now.

But that wasn’t the worst of it, ooh no.

Then Pahoff’s primary hate-object of the time said something nice to me about my analysis.

But that wasn’t the worst of it, ooh no.

I then said something civil in acknowledgement to Pahoff’s hate-object.

Any sane person would regard such an exchange as merely part of the rich tapestry of life in the blogosphere. But in Pahoff’s hate-infused mind, this sort of exchange, between those he seems to regard as his mortal enemies, becomes evidence of ‘intercepting’ and ‘shepherding’ operations by the forces of evil.

In Pahoff’s hate-infused universe, you’re either with him or against him. After long experience, it seems to me that about the only thing Pahoff can do with any conviction or purpose is to hate. It seems to exude from his pores, then erupts rather frequently in streams of bile.

Well, that brief exchange, so long ago now, seems to have sent Pahoff into an apoplexy from which he’s never recovered. I have to admit I’ve enjoyed watching some of it, and have even deliberately done a number of things to set him off.

Anyway, I could go back to Harry’s place (yet again) to put my views about all this, but why bother? It’s gotta end somewhere.

It ends here.

If you want to hang out at CC, you should.

If by hanging out at CC it constantly turns into a fist fight, then it's a bit of a bother. Nothing enjoyable for you in that.

I guess the thing about it is that if the blog's owner doesn't want me around, then I'm not going to make a pest of myself.

Aside from that, of course, I'm not particularly fussed how the other guests there feel.

Anyway, I did say I was "outta there" for *ahem* stated reasons, so it's good a reason as any to quit that scene.

I don't think Harry said he didn't want you around Jacob. From memory you said you were outta there and he said suit yourself.

As for Geoff claiming you called him a racist the only (recent) post I could find was the one that said:

"They support the degenerate political and social cultures that enslaved and butchered these people, and with breathtaking hypocrisy, call critics of these evil degenerate regimes 'racist'.

There is a classic example of this type on this thread."

For mine that doesn't read as though YOU have called him racist or that anyone has actually called him that, but that he identifies you with a group that does use that "tactic" to try and silence those they disagree with. I doubt you can deny that such a "group" exists.

Of course some people just rub each other up the wrong way, and perhaps there's more history to this then I know. Whatever.

Haven't being following this stuff closely but I think it's very clear that the only hate stuff around here is being spewed by you on Pahoff. Pahoff has been having fun with his parody songs and so on and that really gets up your nose.

I remember some of those exchanges you had with Pahof at WD a while back. If you honestly think that it was you who got the better of him then it is you who is truly pathetic.

The only person I have ever banned was Rowley. The only other people I have thought of banning were in fact Geoff Pahoff and that dots and dashes guy.

As for the departure thing, you guys made it clear why you wanted to leave.

I have generally made it my policy to neither discourage nor encourage people to leave or stay. They make up their own minds.

As you may have noticed, I have never sought to win a popularity contest.

At some stage, anyone who has raised the topic of politics has been abused by me.

That's what I do. Sometimes I have apologised for excess, sometimes I haven't.

I believe I partially apologised for that outburst that so offended and then partially withdrew it.

In the end it's only a blog.

Father Park did everything of his own accord. He still has author status.

I would finally add that it has been mainly Father Park, not I, who have added Pahoff pix.

Geoff can turn on a dime. I suppose I can as well.

After so many years of this crap, I know the various personalities and how they act.

The blog has to live naturally or not at all. I will make zero effort to resurect it.

Club Chaos rest in peace?

Perhaps. I could not care if it stays in a coma indefinitely.

I am sure I can find other places to fight about politics in the meantime.

If Dylan, Justin etc visit the corpse of CC from time to time, I will stay in touch with them.

There is something quite amusing about all of this.

We go off Club Chaos to discuss Club Chaos.

It is sort of like how people who were out of sorts with Webdiary would go off Webdiary to talk about it.

Speaking of such matters, check out Lataan's blog. Trouble at the mill. Rowley is pretty pissed off about being banned from Webdiary.

Think about it though. He's consorting with Lataan because both think Webdiay consorts with the right.

Nutty stuff, eh?

I'm not getting involved though. I did make a brief comment on Lataan's blog and made a hasty retreat.

I want no part of their madness.

Rowley is trying to reslove his broken relationships with Webdiary by issuing threats and calling people liars! How's that for a dispute resolution process? He basically says that unless Webdiary does what he wants, he will write bad things. That's a threat isn't it? How could you call that dispute resolution.

Anyway as I say, I want no part of it. I will not comment further.

That said, I thought you guys may be interested in this little update.

It's like a school reunion.

Like I wonder what old so and so is up to?

I wonder what the various freaks of the blogosphere are up to?

I even check out Jolanda now and then.

She left my blog never to return becuase she said I used her as a toy.

She's still goes off on her own blog though.

More history to this than you know, TonyP? Gee, ya reckon?

I went back to Harry's to challenge Pahoff on the following he'd said to Father Park over at Caz/Ck's Avatar Briefs:

I think it's bloody obvious who I was referring to. The asshole who called me a racist a few minutes earlier by twisting a description I made of a degenerate political culture to refer to a "whole people". Not for the first time. It's there for all to see.

Take a look. and then deny what I was clearly on about.

You don't like being called a racist by some shallow dickhead? I don't blame you. Nor do I. At least your dickhead was drunk. And apologised, sort of.

The words of Pahoff's I had referred to were "degenerate civilization". I had not referred to that statement as "racist" but earlier had described it as "hatespeak". Which is a fair call. So who's "twisting" things here, huh?

AB Knox, if you think Joffa got "the better of me" on those WD threads, then you must be really shallow, or otherwise challenged somehow. Just on one performance alone, your fun-loving hero

* Linked as "evidence" to a site that endorsed what he himself later decried as a racist site.

* When I pulled that racist stuff apart, he censured me for linking to a racist site.

* Accused me of making statements I never made.

* Sulkily refused to even consider pertinent information proffered that challenged his nasty assumptions.

I could go on but I can't be stuffed.

Now, AB, if you're impressed with that kind of shit, then you plead my case eloquently.

Anyway, as TonyP so eloquently said: Whatever.

I certainly don't have any illusions about persuading Pahoff's little fellow travellers.

Yes, Harry, I certainly can see that element of comedy in all this. All the best, old chap.

9/10/07 8:55 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yeah I remember that. You linked some extremist racist site and claimed it was mainstream Israeli. Pahoff pointed out it was a racist site about as representative as the KKK. you went into a rage about being made to look like a goose and found that it linked a site that linked a site that linked ... at that point you lost your audience

jacob I don't remember you making any points at all during those threads. It is clear that payhoff's knowledge of these subjects makes you look pathetic. You were reduced to heaping personal abuse and playing on twists in the language to find a little wriggle room

BTW accusing someone of calling "a whole people" degenerate, sure sounds like an allegation of racism to me. As pahof has never said this, it's a false allegation at that

9/10/07 10:51 PM
Blogger Jacob A. Stam said...

Gee, AB Knox, you profess such intimate knowledge of that long-ago thread.

Having earlier said that you "haven't being following this stuff closely".

And incredibly all that stuff you say about my supposedly not "making any points", "heaping personal abuse", "playing on twists in the language", etc., precisely describes Joffa's performance on that matter.

This is spooky. Your nonsense sounds uncannily like the standard Pahoff tilt at projecting his own flaws on other people.

One wonders what further feats of memory you'll next lay on this thread?

But don't you recall my "point" about the sniper towers and underground tunnels attached to that 'settlement', as detailed in that Human Rights Watch report?

And my devastating critique (titled "Beyond the Grassy Knoll") of the offensive masada.org material that was endorsed by the web page originally cited by Joffa?

Well, AB, if you like I can do a post on all that to jog your otherwise prodigious memory. As you'll undoubtedly recall, it was Will Howard's "Repeal of Israel" thread. It won't be at all difficult to find.

As for the equation of a "whole people" with a "civilization", people can make their own judgements about that. I've made mine.

Geoff: "it is worth remembering.."

Geoff, I agree with all your asterisked points, and your point about what is happening in Iraq and Gaza right now. I agree that although it's not looking good right now, there's still a chance for a decent outcome in Iraq. And we can't just leave the place now. I'm a firm believer in the Colin Powell "You-break-it-you-own-it" principle. And "we" (at least the COTW nations) own Iraq now.

We do have a deadly enemy in the forces of radical Islamism. It's just a question of figuring the best way to fight these death cults. Invading Iraq and tying up a huge proportion of our military resources occupying the place is not IMHO the best way. The leaders of Western nations engaged in this confrontation have not figured it out yet (this includes the US, Oz, UK, Israel, etc.). I wish I had the answer but I don't think they are even asking the right questions.

One thing is for sure, because of Iraq, rightly or wrongly, the world will look a lot different in ten years and onward.

Posted by: Jay White | Monday, June 18, 2007 at 12:49

The history of this fiasco is yet to be written and nobody can be certain how it will end. It could be far worse than we imagine. That is why it is so important to focus on the here and now.

That said, it is worth remembering:

*Just about everybody honestly thought Saddam had WMD's. With good reason. I still believe it would have been only a brief matter of time after sanctions had finally collapsed.

*The UN sanctions were in an advanced state of decay. Corruption was just the start of it. France and much of Europe were behaving like the pigs they are.

*The campaign to lift the sanctions was growing stronger. France. Russia. The "Left". Remember the 200,000 children killed? Or was it more? Remember that prick Galloway? How could anybody forget.

Sure Iraq is a dangerous mess. Don't get me started on how badly it has been handled. But getting rid of Saddam was a good thing, and the unspeakably brutal cesspit the place is should at least inform us of how ugly and determined the enemy is. Always has been. Watching how they behave in Iraq, Gaza and elsewhere and I conclude that this is the product of a perverted political and social culture. A degenerate human civilisation off the rails and heading for oblivion, but of immense danger to humankind in the meantime. Hardly the first one.

But hey, that's just me.

Most people could not care less who is who and are far more interested in the content of the comments. For you though, identity has always been central. Interesting.

One of the most bizarre aspects is your propensity to issue threats. You are the only person I've encountered online who does that and it makes you menacing. Your latest threat is toward Webdiary and it is documented in all its glory on the Lataan blog. If they don't do something, you'll publish your nonsense. Direct threat and standover tactic. Perhaps you should have been a trade union official. Any person with any gumption would never respond to a threat. I hardly expect Webdiary would given all you have said and done. Respond to a threat? You must be joking. Grow up. Get a grip. Then you dress up threats as part of dispute resolution. It's weird, bitter and twisted. You're weird, bitter and twisted. Petty, pedantic, puerile.

Now it's my turn to cut and paste. This is from David Roffey, General Manager of Webdiary:

"The first half of September was characterised by a small blizzard of submitted comments, not-for-publication comments to the editors, and emails disputing this decision from Craig Rowley - 38 published, 26 not published (almost all for ignoring Margo's edict that we do not publish debate on the identity of other webdiarists), and 57 not for publication. Margo pointed out to Craig that Fiona and Richard were pretty much on their own, and she was too busy with Still Not Happy John to respond to the emails in particular, and to please try not to overload the editors until she had that time: this seemed to produce the exact opposite effect, and on 14 September she banned Craig from Webdiary for two weeks. Following Craig's email responses to that decision, Margo extended the ban indefinitely.

Over the next few days Craig created a number of other identities, including identity theft of at least one other real person. As noted above, this was at a time when both Margo and I were travelling and essentially off the net - me happily esconced in wineries and wildflowers around Margaret River, Margo travelling to Canberra for the SNHJ launch - and Fiona and Richard's equanimity and diligence over this period in the face of provocation have been praiseworthy (and are hereby praised)."

Poor old Fiona and Richard, eh? It must have been dreadful. Rowley created the noose for his own neck and there is a rich irony in the way all this has panned out.

... and this is a cut and paste (now I see how Geoff does it) from Lataan's blog where Rowley threatens Margo.

"My hand is now being forced by what David (Roffey) has done with his attempt to hurt me and I'll have to take the whole story public just to defend myself against David's (Roffey) malicious misrepresentations.

There is still an opportunity to resolve this. All it takes if for you and David (Roffey) to do the right thing and act in a manner that is ethical, accountable and transparent. All it takes is a published statement by you acknowledging the truth and calling on David Roffey to retract the lies and offer an apology to me and the other people he has lied about."

Like all threats, it lays out the conditions where one person has to do something, otherwise the person issuing the treat will cause harm to the other.

As a sidebar, the slightly amusing aspect is the idea that he will "take the story public". Isn't that aspect laughable? One gets the impression that he has lost all sense of proportion. To take a story public it has to be a matter of public interest. The reality is the public could not care less about some obscure and pathetic little blog war. It's a bit how people talk about "publishing" things as if they were talking about a book, magazine or newspaper. Every day billions of meaningless words are written on blogs. They have no more significance that late night pub talk. "Take the story public". That's the threat? Really?

The day a blogger takes the story public of how he was excluded from a group blog (Webdiary).

I mean precisely WHO would care about this piece of trivia?

No one except for half a dozen blog tragics like us who find this trivia mildly amusing.

Takin' it public!

The Rowley Diaries!

It's the Latham Diaries Mark II

Hang onto your segue. The perfect meme is forming in Rowley's head.

What a tosser. He's the reason Lataan went mad and Roffey left the left 30 years ago.

Oh and Rowley you will have to use surnames because there are two David's you have "issues" with.

It could get confusing for mere mortals to follow your contorted complaints.

"... when you slimed me at Harry's place with your sick fantasy about me licking Ross's arse."

Well jacob, if you had the self-discipline to leave that woman's arse alone no-one would be able to speculate about what you were doing with your head in there, would they?

"your definitions of "racism" and "hatetalk" need a little work, too.

"The two are not identical.

"when you slimed me at Harry's place with your sick fantasy about me licking Ross's arse.

"That was "hatetalk".

"But it wasn't "racism"."

OK, jacob. I think I'm getting the hang of this.

Stuff like this:

"Look, Pahoff/Noxious, or whoever you are, you moron." "sockpuppets." "troll" "your own stupid slimy claims." "Anything else, Mister Slime?"

"If not, then fuck off."
"Joffa Boy" "I had to come back here to chase up some slime who was spewing bile"
"YOU LIED. AGAIN."
"I'm happy to be out of here while ever a slime like Pahoff is given free run of the place"
"You have people here who slander whole people as "degenerate" but don't raise an eyebrow"

That's only "hatetalk", right?

Thank you for so many examples of what you speak

But please Mr jacob,

Help me out here. I've always thought that someone who "slander(s) a whole people as degenerate" was a racist. And someone who uses a term like "Joffa Boy" probably was too.

I can see you're an expert on hate and racism so could you give us a hand here so that we can get to grips with these difficult concepts

Oddly enough, sitemeter tells me that 'Alison Knox' has the same IP address as the 'Anonymous' twat who dumped Pahoff's 'Shotgun Stam' ditty on this thread yesterday.

DEGENERATE

HUMAN

CIVILISATION

Perhaps you can make another little ditty out of those words of yours, eh Goof?

Or perhaps a hate sonnet.

Now rack off, Pahoff.

Wow … I only half expected it, but turns out that David Davis really did wake up in the morning and angrily tap out the next instalment of his rant.

Now it has to be said that he's leaving us with the impression that he has lost all sense of proportion!

And David's donning of the hypocrite hat once again to do a Pahoff paste up job is hilarious. Even more funny because it's on the issue he said he didn’t want to deal himself into. I know … I know … highlighting David’s hypocrisy is only pointing out the trivial, but it's at least mildly amusing and could keep half a dozen blog tragics entertained.

Well dearie dearie dearie me. Look what I found at Harry's. Admittedly with a little help from Paahoaf.

"Whatever, Geoff, no-one's denying anything. There's plenty of strands of madness all 'round. Or is this meant to be 'cute'?

Posted by: Jacob | Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 08:56

"Before noon, two civilians were killed during a protest held in Gaza City under the banner "Stop the Killing." Some 1,000 Palestinians marched in the city, calling for an end to the fighting, but when they approached a Hamas position, militants fired at the protesters, killing two."

Seems to me pretty clear where the hate is.

... a degenerate human civilisation off the rails and heading for oblivion.

Otherwise known as Islamofascism. It will crash eventually. Hate-driven dysfunctional political cultures gripped by deathcults, apocalyptic, closed belief systems and a savage, murderous, all consuming contempt for all others and objective truth always do. Cultures come and go. They are selected against as ruthlessly as a failed species experiment of nature.

The only question is how many human lives it will take in the meantime.

---------------------------------------

Well what can I say? Two weeks after the post Mr Jacob picked on with the "civilisation off the rails" comment which he twisted into "slandering a whole people" it seems the phrase came up again! And was its meaning was clearly laid out again! And Mr Jacob made it clear he was NOT DENYING geoff's point!

And yet four months later he twists it to make it look like a racist comment or hatespeak.

Tell me Mr Jacob. Don't you feel just a little .. ah .. tacky?

It seems like there's always more.

Will this thing ever stop?

Evil prospers when ever Rowley is about.

Lataan is not taking his medication.

Father Park has gone walkabout.

I did say in the main post that "It ends here."

Time will tell.

Haven't checked out your place for a while because if I did it might turn into another bun fight. I'm fairly certain everyone's had more than enough of it all.

I'm guessing Father Park will return sometime this weekend. He may be horrified to find what's heppened here while he was away and seek a more convivial portal. Hope not, but I could understand if he did.

I believe I partially apologised for that outburst that so offended and then partially withdrew it.

Interesting. That would necessitate admitting what was said or done. An "apology" for a possibility is no apology even if it is "partially" withdrawn.

It's now uber territorial since Father Park decided to depart, taking with him Jacob and others and causing the original Club Chaos to implode.

Chilling.

I would suggest though that I took no one with me.

"Craig Warton and his obsession with the Schutzstaffel and no doubt which engines pulled what make of train carriages containing the people their leader was so interested in transporting with ruthless efficiency"

It is always nice to go looking at another site, observe the usual bunfights and of course to find a complete toss pot like Rowley slag off at you.

So lets clear a couple of things up for that pretentious prick shall we?

I am interested in WW2 German military history, particularly ground forces and that includes the army and the Waffen SS.
Do a little research on the SS moron and you might find it is a far more complex organisation than simplistic twits like you realise.

But of course why would you do that when you would rather take cheap shots about being a Nazi. The delicious irony that totally escapes you is that you spend most of your time defending countries that are far closer to nazism or fascism than those you rail against.

What ever.

So I pointed out errors in peoples postings? Big deal, would you prefer to let incorrect information stand? Actually when it suits you the answer is probably yes.

I am not terribly interested in German Railways, I model the Great Western Railway which is a UK railway. Funnily enough, I noticed that in one of your rants about me you mentioned wheel profiles.

I have never actually mentioned that term anywhere, so I am guessing you have done a fair bit of googling of my name to come up with that.

How wonderful for you that you feel that depth of obsession about someone. You know though Craig, I have not felt the urge to look you up at all. Ever.
You could vanish for all I care.

To everyone else, I hope you are all well - yes even you Jacob! I know you and Geoff dont see eye to eye on anything at all, but I dont mind either of you.

I miss your posts on Club Chaos Father Park, but am glad to see that you are still enjoying the fishing and talking to some beautiful King Parrots.

This blog stuff is all getting too hate filled for me, I am weary of seeing so much bitterness too others so i dont know how much longer I will post.

Sorry for the rant, I just felt like explaining a few things not that it will make a bit of difference of course

Even me, Craig? Well thanks, old chap, hope all's well with you too.

Don't know why you felt the need to explain yourself to CraigR, but then again maybe I do. I can certainly understand how one doesn't want to be misunderstood through being misrepresented by dickheads. But there comes a limit where one just thinks, Ah sod it...

Yeah, CraigR should burn that enemies list of his. Look where it got Nixon.

Anyway, I'm hopeful that the hate has been exorcised from this blog, so we can now move onward and upward. These threads will be sealed with a meme-resistant layer so that none of it can ever get out into the world again.

Cheers, CraigW, and feel free to drop by anytime.

No more hate. Promise.

Thanks for the kind words Jacob. he that shall not be named had another spray at me over at lucky Phils.I put up a short reply which resulted in a looong reply (two actually) that culminated in a threat of physical voilence if I have the ahem pleasure of meeting him.
I think he has a lot on his mind, maybe an enema would help.

I shall now move forward and look at more interestings things, and i promise to say hello at times!
