I don't want to grow up!
By Postulant Caitlin
I don't want to grow up
I wanna stay small
And I want a new pup
I'm havin' a ball
My life is great
I want to stay this way
It's growth that I hate
If I have to I'll pray
No matter what you say
I'm gonna stay like this
I want to do it my way
It's you I will miss
It's time to go
I won't lie
I can't say no
And so goodbye
I don't want to grow up
I wanna stay small
And I want a new pup
I'm havin' a ball
My life is great
I want to stay this way
It's growth that I hate
If I have to I'll pray
No matter what you say
I'm gonna stay like this
I want to do it my way
It's you I will miss
It's time to go
I won't lie
I can't say no
And so goodbye

Good one Caitlin and never fear; no one has to grow up if they don't want to; and most don't - even when they would like to.
Adults are nothing more than children with extra layers.
BTW - I do enjoy your poetry.

A welcome return, Caitlin!
And very sage advice from Justin, do take a leaf out of his book.
Oh, I've just posted a Friday thing, only to realise tomorrow's only Thursday... WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Oh well, at least it's ready to roll.
Good to hear from you again Caitlin. Great stuff.
