He's one helluva talented accompanyist that Yamaha Automaton.

Neatly done 'old man' - really quite good.

I should really undertake a search for the tape we cut in the Old Man's garage back in '75. Transfered it to cassette but haven't used a TDK Super Avilyn tape in more years than I care to remember.

Great album I must say: The Spartans, "Live at Thermopylae". Included that classic "Fifteen Minutes of Crap" along with "I Don't care What de White Man Say, Santy Claus is a Black Mon". 'Engineered' by Claude D'Abrera who appeared, in our version of Smoke on the Water", as "fuckin' Claude was runnin' in and out...".

Ha! Good times long gone...

Phew. I'm relieved. That was wonderful. Were those giant penguins on the beach, or little people?

Last time *someone* directed me to a home made u-toob I sat dumbfounded and in the dark trying to decipher the uttering of two of Jolanda's quite evidently less than gifted kiddies.

So, you know, I'm not mortified on your behalf or anything, and for that I'm utterly grateful. Which is you in the pic Jacob?

Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder Caz, I had an idea Bertie's birthday was coming up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIKE ! ! !

Yeah, this recorded performance seems to have stood the test of time, given that even I don't cringe myself when I hear it. Well, not a lot anyway.

This was one my few harmonica performances where my lips didn't fall off the instrument, which they're unfortunately prone to do.

There are a few other recordings from the period I bring out when we need a laugh.

Yamaha Automaton went on to bigger and better karaoke gigs.

Depending on the taste of the viewer, Caz, I'm either the less or the more handsome of the two. That should narrow it down for you. ;-)

I must have let that slip sometime...possibly due to the Dionysiac on my front lawn last year.

Thank you one and all.
