Agreed. It's a shocking choice of word especially for a politician.
A massive faceplam.
Maybe he meant a 'holocaust' specifically for the militants. A kind of surgical holocaust. Yes, that must be it.
OK, I'll take the bait and be entirely tasteless, tacky and incorrect ... there aren't enough Palestinians for anything resembling a holocaust.
That said, what a dumb-arsed thing for him to say.
