Ah, dear old Harry...

Your response is yet to go up.
Actually Kathy, it is eminently believeable. It is entirely within character.

I wonder if the "known group" is listed on the US State Department's list of known groups. Perhaps it is a known group that materially supports known groups who are, well, known for being recognised as known.

In support of Labor. Oh dear: the put upon meme continues to this day. Interesting to see that any such walk-out is now perceived as party political.

I doubt that WD will post my response Mike!

As I mentioned the real reason, I am basically calling Harry a liar.

No playing the man over at WD.

Also, I'd knocked off a bottle of champers by the time I had made the post, so my recollection is a bit patchy today. (sheepish grin)

I do know that I never used any expletives. Though I certainly felt like doing so!

Sheesh, I think I've been hanging around you for too long Mike...

Soon you'll have ME drinking the Wirra Wirra Churchblock Shiraz..Heh!

Well, I'm having a black beer at the present. Will likely move to the red tonight with the Rectory Fried Chicken.

Mmm...could have it now actually.

You've called it right though. Amazing how reality is warped to suit. Remember: I'm the one owning an apology.

Still getting over that one.

They most likely will not publish it. It is alright for the bloke to claim such but you will not be allowed to answer it - no bearing on the subject you see and, of course, playing the sanctimonious humbugger... err, sorry, man.

The beer's emty: best get another.

"An ilk is born when a known group walk out en masse"

Ha! So true!

There are known groups and unknown groups.

Then there are group knowns and group unknowns.

Then there are non-group knowns and non-group unknowns.

Then ther-... well, you get the picture.

Absolutely Kathy. As a fellow Ilk you'd know. Reminds me of that Three Ilk Night Song...

The Ilk is smacked: for a blog he blights
The others they group against the slights
HH sits pat: HH is right
A known group walks out en masse, it’s all so crass.

And now that group can understand
That this is the law of HH land, HH land.

Yeah great song Mike!
I also loved "Joy To The World"

Rectory Fried Chicken sounds yummy.
Are you the chef this evening?

Like most every other evening!

Time to relax in a bath with a red prior to cooking.

Mmmmm, fried chicken!! I say we all walk in en masse as a known group to the Rectory. Supporting Labor optional.

HH on CC:

"Father Park is Labor.

You walked out in support of Father Park.

You walked out in support of Labor.

The formulation is not very complex."

For a guy who genuinely believes he's always the smartest bloke in the room, he sure is stooopid.

The inner-marooon has finally won the internal battle.

Case rests.

Maroonery?

Either that, or sheer brilliance!!

The seed-post at WD delivered a relevance-booster to CC by animating real, live people - as opposed to mostly spambots - to post there.

HH could conceivably keep this going for weeks or even months.

Seems that at least one spambot is now unemployed.

Some good has come to the world from this after all.

Damnation but I am such a bad boy. CC closed and all my fault.

Oh well, in keeping with en masse meme...

Look what he’s done to my blog, ma
Look what he’s done to my blog
Well I only abused the livin’shit outa him
And Father Park he walked right out, ma
Look what he’s done to my blog.

Look what his Ilk done to my blog, ma
Look what his Ilk done to my blog
Supportin' Labor it walked out en masse
And the Ilk thinks that I'm to blame, ma
Look what that Ilk done to my blog.

I wish the Ilk would find another blog to post in
Wish the Ilk would find another blog
Well if the Ilk could find another blog
I'd never have face up and look at
What I've done to my blog.

Meanwhile David Davis over at Webdiary enjoins readers to 'grasp' the 'opportunity' of apologising for past wrongs.

Hear hear!

Whilst Harry Heidelberg closes his blog for lack of interest.

* shakes head *

Okey-dokey.

Soooo, DD (or HH) had a telly on every floor at work, which, quite frankly doesn't count for shit unless they went out and bought the flat wide screens especially for this occasion, and I'm betting they didn't.

Meanwhile Fiona thinks this is BIGGER than Nov 11, '75.

Meanwhile, meanwhile, some other prankster thinks that "capitalism" is now in the business of apologizing for all "past sins".

*Hello. When did capitalism change stripes? Did capitalism just die in the arse and no one told me?*

If "capitalism" is going to keep pulling these stunts, then it's about bloody time "capitalism" gave us his or her first name - and address.

Finally, there is Harry, who has taken to "sorry" like a leach to a rotting backpacker from Mexico City. At least he's consistent, I suppose.
