Oooh, who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, 'ey?

Someone's a grumpy boy.

All the girl goats will likely be getting horn envy, Kath.

I don't know, Caz, this guy looks somewhat introspective, even beatific, to me.

Hey, what's become of Bertie?

Yes, been wondering where the old boy has gone.
Knew he was going away for a while, but thought he'd be back by now.

Ah, now I remember... He and the family were going to a resort thingy at Ballarat here in Vic, where they were to hook up with extended family.

He was anxious that the place had a decent bar. Not having heard from him, I guess we may take it that it has a superb bar.

Nope, I have been starring at him Jacob, studied him intensely: he's a grumpy bugger.

So, we should probably conclude that the bar is not only superb, but also keeps extraordinary opening hours.

It did not have a bloody bar...hurrumph! It did possess a bloody big pool though. This was particularly important at the backend of the week when things, temperature wise, became quite out of hand.

On the other hand, it was somewhat difficult to extract the postulants when your good Father Park required a visit to the wineries of the area.

Said wineries and a bottle-o down the road aways rectified the lack of a bar.

Wonderfull place I must say. It was an orphanage/boarding school for many a long year (Blythewood Grange).

We did the Sovereign Hill thingy ("Blood on the Southern Cross", Eureka and - did I mention it? - wineries.

We betook ourselves to Echuca on Friday for some paddle-steamery and the Holbrook pub last night for many a frosty schooner.

Perhaps, when I'm organised, I'll post some photos. For now, having just got in, I'm going to run a warm bath and lay in it.

Welcome back, Father Park!

Pity about the lack of bar facilities at the place, but then again the district has compensatory public facilities, as you've found.

Echuca on Friday? Hopefully it wasn't too hot and/or stormy. Victoria is like a box of chocklits, you never know what you're gonna git...
