The thinking man's...
I'm afraid there's no other way to say it: the "thinking man's sex-symbol".
The US had Merryl Streep through the eighties and, huge fan of "Out of Africa" that I am, our Cate is much the better looking - comparatively speaking of course. More than that, as this photo intimates, there is not only beauty but also savvy and smarts. The eyes speak of intelligence. Love those eyes.
Unless, of course, I'm seeing her through my gonads. That's always possible I s'pose....

Kate's a great actor, I'll grant you. As far as looks go, though, I much prefer Hugh Jackman, the thinking woman's crumpet! Tee hee..
No Tina Fey?
Knut, the bear the left wanted to kill, is still alive.
You really need to get over Knut.
Watched "the Howard Years" - the last one. I'd avoided the first two as it is all too ... recent I suppose. Nice to see the bloke is reflective. Commissioned Downer to get the party's view and then blamed the party for not "publicly" removing him.
Howard to the end...
Ah yes, dear old Knut!!! I still want him dead, but still I wonder how his psychotherapy's going.
Mike, I think you might need some new prescription gonads, because the lady's name is spelt Cate. But yeah, what an absolute dreamboat, eh...? Mmmmmmmm....
Who's Tina Fey???

I was thinking of Kath....
But Knut's nurturer is well and truly dead Harry, which was rather sad, as he left young kiddies of his own.
Our Cate has great screen presence and is an impeccable actor, in the same way as our Rusty, but to be honest, their real life persona's give me the creeps / leave me cold - more so with Cate than Rusty. Pretentious gits, basically, and Cate gets worse the more "acclaimed" and "saintly" she becomes.
At least Rusty sometimes seems to head back down to earth after time out with the wife and kids, and when he's had a break from throwing phones at people.
