Witty Caitlin

By Postulant Josh,

Between drinks at the pub bistro...

Caitlin, you are pretty.
And you’re really nice.
But sometimes you’re witty
Sometimes you don’t think twice.
You make bad choices,
Sometimes they’re good.
You really like horses
Even if they were wood.

Bravo Josh! A lovely poem.

Caitlin is very lucky to have such a nice caring brother like you.

And I think Mum and Dad are very lucky to have you both too!

Following in the old man's footsteps, eh Mike?

Yes... A chip off the old block I reckon.

Yes, bravo indeed, Josh!

Not quite sure what to make of the allusion to the Trojan Horse in the final stanza, but Caitlin may be assured that she can have equal time for rebuttal. ;-)

Anyway, keep'em coming, Josh. The augmentation of AppliedH with fresh voices - including now younger voices - is most welcome.

I think the last time this blog featured anything from the younger set was young Rory Burg's valedictory for Pluto, see Planets cry too.

Oh yeah Josh, as Kathy said, you'd be a really cool brother.

As one who grew up with nine planets, I boycotted the decision.

The definition applied is now, as far as I am concerned, firmly in the Dictionary of Irrelevancies as is another balanced blog.

Josh ... was having drinks ... ?

Sufficient drinks to break into verse?

Chip off the ol' block that boy.

Amazing what a schooner - or two - of OJ will do for the creative juices.

The little man is doing very well for himself at the present. He's quite pleased with himself - as he should be.
