Blair factor maxes out

The Blair factor has reached a new ‘high’ in that celebrated brand of – er .. humour, is it? – with the following gem of wit from the Muftim:

Twelve hours of Al [Gore]! Try that in Abu Ghraib and they’d be begging for the old pyramid treatment.

Charmed, I’m sure... Where’s the bucket?

And don’t the crowd love it?

I quite enjoyed the recent post in which Blair linked to more than a dozen articles about the just released UN report.

One sharp minded commenter dismissed the entire thing with delightful brevity, calling it "junk science". He failed to mention his own long list of science qualifications.

Yeah, you get that sort of thing from all 'sides' in the blogosphere.

Blair's post was titled "Yee-Hah" or something. Seems he's digging into his GloWarm-sceptic position.

But whatever happens he can come up smelling roses.

If, as appears unlikely, the crisis doesn't deepen, he can say that his lampooning was spot on.

If something like the worst GloWarm predictions come to pass, he can say it was all legitimate 'satire' anyway.

Yee-hah!!!
