Phasmid Friday
Late posting of a phasmid (a.k.a., stick insect) which yesterday made herself at home on the front entrance of our holiday unit at Metung, Victoria.
I liked the way the tip of the abdomen mimics a budding shoot. Clever fellow!
This specimen was around 12cm in length, of a species I’ve yet to identify. Anyone?

I could name it Jacob, but it wouldn't be scientific.
