Oh, a picture of Harry..
No... Wait a minute, that's not a jackass!
My mistake Jarcob!

Gonna miss you old mate. You're a real nice guy..

Harry really is an ass. Now he's had one petulant rant too many.

It's a real shame. We had a great crowd at Harry's.

Hiya Karthy m'dear. Lovely of you to drop by.

As for all that other stuff... all part of the rich tapestry of the blogosphere.

I imagine Harry's place will recover some equillibrium or whatever. He's okay, just a tad er single minded.

But yeah, I shan't return, especially while ever a certain raging bigot is tolerated there while decent blokes like the Padre are not.

Don't let that stop you though, Harry can be a really fun guy.

It wont be nearly as much as much fun without you and Mike though!(sniff)

And, as you've more or less indicated it's Mike who has been holding Harry's blog together, of late.

That would be the evil sacrificial goat, yeah?

Has he met his maker yet?

If not, I trust it will be soon!

Perhaps he was offered up in the usual manner prior to yesterday's grand final?

Yo Kathy!

I is still hereabouts....just. Yesterday's Oktoberfest was rather....long. At seven dollars per pint stein, I believe I spent a week's wages.

As some emails floating around would indicate.

Perhaps - if Jarcob agrees - I shall post the occasional bit here? At least then there'd be a reason to call it some sort “leftist enclave”??!!

In the meantime am having much fun disabusing folk of romantic notions elsewhere. Never rude, by the way, simply to the point. Like any good ship of state should be.

This getting published thing is really quite weird. I’ve scribbled countless things for blogs and other things but not ever for a periodical. Rather a strange thing to see one’s name in a forthcoming volume.

I shall now await the “letters to the editor” over my views.

Yes, Bertie, good on you!

Now, I've just had blogger send you an email invitation to be a co-author for this blog. I'm not quite sure how it works, but if you can work it out then you can post to your heart's content.

You may not thank me for this, because blogger is still a dog of a product.

There are a few places in Sydney that stock it. It aint exactly No Idea though.

I've a PDF proof coming through that I might send you to save the looking.

Got the "blogger" thingy. Haven't had the time to sort it yet - the editor and myself have been tooing and froing.

I might give it a go later in the week.

Who knows...we may score a rather small group of apostates who'll visit?

No worries, Father Bertie. You may prefer to just email stuff for me to post. Whatever you're comfortable with.

Hey, Karthy, what about you doing the odd posts?

Caz, nah, this is a happy benign goat. We all have the odd photo taken that isn't particularly flattering. Well, I do anyway. Rather often, actually.

Next, I think we may need a Goat of Many Colours. I'm on the lookout for one.

C'mom Kathy, give it a burl girl.

God knows what we could lower this place to in time?

Hey, Jarcob, can we do "pissed-co-teques" on blogger? I have a dab hand when it comes to out-of-date rockers that go well with a red or a beer you know.

Sent you the proof. It might be a bit dry. I attempted to infuse some narrative niceties though.

"Pissed-co-teques"??
Sounds wonderful Bertie!
This could be the start of something, eh Jarcob.(A beer or a red is a good incentive for me!)

Pissed-co-teques!! Sounds like a marvellous idea, Fr Bertie. You lead, we'll follow...

Yes, got the proof. Looks very slick! As for the matter, I think I need to print it out and take a couple of hours to digest it. With my thickest dictionary to help section it into manageable morsels.

Looking forward to it actually, you never know I might learn something new ... er ... old...
